Donald Trump appeared to offer confirmation that the United States is now participating in Israel’s attack on Iran in a Tuesday social media post.

Amid escalating tensions and the exchange of bombings after Israel attacked Iranian nuclear facilities last week, Trump has faced questions about the extent of U.S. involvement in the conflict.

In a new post on Truth Social using the term “We,” Trump wrote: “We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran. Iran had good sky trackers and other defensive equipment, and plenty of it, but it doesn’t compare to American made, conceived, and manufactured “stuff.” Nobody does it better than the good ol’ USA.”

Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Okay, relatively minor point here, but doesn’t this seem like an odd closing sentence? This is how you end a letter to a cereal maker when you find a Fruit Loop in your Cheerios. It’s not how you end a tweet when you’re talking about assassinating a major political/cultural figure and possibly triggering WWIII.

Behind the scenes, it’s a complete Cluster Fuck. Good luck to those in the military or planning on joining who did not vote for the orange turd. For the MAGA in uniform, you deserve the shit that is going to fly all over the place with this war.

I wonder how long this has been in planning. Technically, the US military is prepared for desert operations.

The narrative was that Israel had gone behind his back and it made him look weak. Now it looks like Israel is winning and Trump needs to claim he was part of it. No, not “part of it”, the reason why.

Particularly in foreign politics, he badly needs a win: turns out international trade is not as easy as imposing tariffs and waiting for countries to call him with big offers and Diplomacy (who knew) takes more than a “Vladimir stop” post on social. He needs something quick to show in-between golf games to get his popularity above “get my teeth drilled by the dentist” level again.

His GI Joe military birthday parade didn’t go how he wanted, so now he’s going to punish the military by sending them to war. They didn’t goosestep for him. Someone needs to pay.

The last time the US formally declared war was WWII. Presidents, both blue and red, have been taking advantage of the incredibly weak War Powers Act for decades now.

          When they speak up

So you can openly admit they’re not even bothering to do the bare minimum of speaking out about this stuff, yet still attack anyone who dares criticize them for the very inaction you referred to yourself?

They could mobilize their base for unending mass demonstration and a general strike. Shut down the country until the fascists capitulate.

They won’t. Instead they’ll side with the regime and criticize protesters for being too violent.

They are not in a position to do anything. So regardless of the name of the bill or the intention of it, it’s not going to pass. They don’t have the votes. But they do have enough to stop certain things, so let’s look at that-… Oh, I guess fetterman is… conservative now. 😳 Oopsy-poopsy, and, is that, yep Schumer just capitulated at a critical moment in exchange for ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . Fair enough, so, what about when they held a super majority. I’ll bet it was a blitz of kick ass legisl-… Wait, NOTHING?!? They did NOTHING??? THEY HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO EXPUNGE THE FILIBUSTER PERMANENTLY, FOR FUCKING EVER, AND THEY DID

in under 12 hours the US cleared the entirety of Iran of air defense systems

Given how insanely powerful the US Armed Forces can be, objectively speaking, that’s honestly not entirely unbelievable.
