  • I guess I’m confused because I didn’t know that “low budget” was now synonymous with “indie.” They are an indie dev that made their first game yet their game doesn’t count as “indie” because they had a budget? What about a game like No Man’s Sky? They were an indie dev that got promoted by Sony and everyone shat on it when it came out and said they bit off more than they could chew. In my opinion, that seems even less fair.

I’m not saying they deserved the award more than any other game, I enjoyed all the games nominated, I’m just saying that if E33 flopped I highly doubt anyone would call them more than an indie dev that tried to punch above their weight just like No Man’s Sky.

  • I went over to Reddit so I could keep track if the game awards because I didn’t have time to actually watch it. Holy shit the hate E33 is getting is completely ridiculous, as Reddit does. Whether you go to the Silksong, KCD2, Death Stranding, Dispatch, Arc Raiders, or any other games subreddit that was nominated for any award about half the comments saying E33 is trash, overhyped, and their game deserved to win instead. As someone that has enjoyed all of these games, the salt is absolutely bonkers. Most of the ones complaining are basically saying “I never played it but I heard they did [blank] so they don’t deserve [blank] award.”

I just don’t get why they need to shit on other people and the games they like just because their game didn’t win. Shit on TGA all you want, but the fans and the devs literally had nothing to do with winning. They were all great games and all deserve praise in their own ways. In two weeks none of us will give a shit anymore anyway and will probably be complaining that “RV There Yet” wins the “Most Innovative Gameplay” award on Steam. I mean, a flippin’ gacha game won the “Players Voice” Award and people are spending their time shitting on objectively good games.

  • That’s what I find crazy. People used to eat there all the time because it was so cheap. These days you’ll be lucky to find anything under $5 and most combos cost upwards of $15+. All my coworkers used to stop there for lunch between job sites but now they all just bring shit from home. If you are still eating there at this point my guess is you just like mediocre food. If beef prices weren’t so messed up right now I’d say it’d be cheaper just to make it at home.

  • Of course they do, they’re not as dumb as she is. She actually believed his bullshit while all the other Republicans are just greedy and/or cowards. The only reason 90% of them even follow along and spew his bullshit is because they have something they want or have something they don’t wanna lose. You can almost see the distain in their faces when he speaks to the press next to them. Whenever I see someone like Mike Johnson speak the only thing I see is a man that desperately wants to take advantage of everyone he doesn’t like but deep down wishes everything would go back to normal. But now he’s too scared to do either so he just says “I don’t know” whenever anyone asks him a question.

  • I’m not disagreeing with you about what a liberal is. Liberal politicians are garbage and are just as bad as the rest of them and are paid off by zionists. What I’m more interested in is that you seem to be talking about the politicians while I’m talking about the general population. The every day people that aren’t leftists. It just seems counterproductive to make enemies of literally everyone else. When I say you’d only have about a hundred thousand people I meant against the the ideals of everyone else, not just the politcians and their disgusting behavior. Like, why are you picking a fight with me when I agree with the majority of what you are talking about?

  • I just find it silly to talk about rising up, bringing everyone together, defending the weak, and removing those in power while treating everyone that disagrees with you like garbage. At best with that attitude you’d get a revolution of a hundred thousand people if you are lucky because you pissed everyone else off. I’ve never met anyone that has changed their mind because someone insulted them. In fact it’s usually to opposite as it usually pushes them further away.

Pointing out hypocrisy is perfectly reasonable, but if you can’t even recognize your own hypocrisies in the process you’re just an asshole. And at this point I’m moreso talking about the comments under this post as I don’t find the post that innacurate, just misleading, which is what I was trying to point out. But everyone came out the gate ready to argue over the smallest details. I get it, there are definitely specific people that deserve all the criticism and hate that they get like those that flip flop when it benefits them. But it’s pretty ridiculous to hear about “unity” while also posting memes that generalize an entire group of people based on vibes and not actually talking to the individual. That’s, for the most part, how we ended up where we are today and it’s counterproductive.

  • Anybody from any political standing could say the exact same thing that you just said but compare any other president within the last 100 years about any other topic and their point would still make sense. It’s unhelpful because it doesn’t further the conversation. All it does is point fingers and pit people against each other which is exactly what this comment section has turned into. And whether it was done intentionally or unintentionally, it’s basically ragebait. Now we are all arguing in the comments about things in the past that we can’t change and what peoples opinions were 15 years ago and why that has anything to do with people that are dying today.
