In an interview with two Times reporters, President Trump blamed the G.O.P.’s losses on the fact that he was not on the ballot and said he was willing to work with Democrats.
President Trump said Tuesday night that he would accept the results of the midterm elections and was prepared to work with Democrats.
“I am absolutely willing to accept those results,” he said in an interview with The New York Times.
He added: “We’ll work with the Democrats, and we’ll, you know, look forward to working with them. We’ll probably work something out.”
Mr. Trump blamed Republican losses on the fact that he was not on the ballot and said he had no regrets about endorsing candidates such as Senator Darline Graham, Republican of South Carolina, and Ken Paxton, the Republican attorney general of Texas.

I would prefer he faced some consequences instead. If he keeled over tomorrow, he’d would have won. He’d gotten of with a full life of scamming and abuse. I hope he gets to spend a few years behind bars, alone, seeing all he built falling apart
I get the sentiment; but just dying very soon, would diminish all the other harmful things, trump will do (lame duck or not). But it would have to be a death fairly soon, and I would wish it to be painful. Otherwise, on board with your hopes for trump’s longer term future.

Exactly. I want him in prison, then he can die all he wants. Even on the first day. I want him to KNOW he lost. He has to die in prison.
