And anytime it doesn’t work, it should be called Crapple pay
Kind of like the company
I always wondered why they call it contactless technology… and then advise people to tap.
For the record, out of the literally thousands of Apple Pay uses I’ve had it’s only failed the one time I took my restaurant bill just past my immediately available funds and then a couple of times when those mobile payment terminals were struggling for a connection.
Am I the only one who never has an issue with NFC payment? It works for me every time.
My girlfriend has problems with it too. I think the issue is in the name. I keep telling her that you have to hold your phone/card near the machine for a couple of seconds, but she just taps and instantly pulls it away every time. I think it’s autism cause she takes everything literally.
It should be called duopoly-dependent pay.
An Appy Tappy
Don’t you want me like I want you baby
Appy tappy tap, appy tappy tap
Uh, uhuh uhuh
In france they call it it App Le Tap
If NFC cards are not exclusive to apple, and apple is crap. Then, it should always be called crapple pay.
What’s a tap card terminal?
An NFC reader
Yeah, that. I just didn’t know what they were called
Oh, so just a normal card terminal or contactless terminal. Never hear “tap” in that context.
Must be a regional dialect, where I live it’s used constantly whenever people pay for things that way, like “tap to pay”
