As someone who was an extreme diehard fan of diablo lore (hell, look at my username), I’ll never forgive blizzard for tearing it to shreds since Diablo 3. The real game ended at 2 (and the books written after, but before 3) when it comes to lore and story.
Shiren 6 exists, why would I play that?

As a single player user I liked Diablo 4, good story with excellent cinematic and well made all around. So I’m quite excited to the new chapter
I never even played 4. I didn’t ever hear enough good about it to try.
I want more information. Are we returning to a dungeon crawler with actual difficulty or are we following the D3 and onward beatem up cakewalk system?

the most recent expansion was a few months ago, so its just this year lol, and surprise it was kinda of disappointing. the big bad was supposed to be LILITH? but it ended up being mephisto, but even in the last expansion it dint seem that good, as far as story wise went. im guessing 5 will be BAAL again.
Diablo 4 will be six years old by the time this comes out (not including eventual delays), which seems like a decent time between major releases, and three years after the current expansion, which concluded the Mephisto story.
Getting diablo 5 before elder scrolls 6
and were getting SC" FPS too soon in a few years. and no WC4, if they are even considering it. WC3, SC1-2 and diablo 2, are probably the best games.
Wouldn’t be surprised if we get Diablo 6 before Elder Scrolls 6 at this point.

My friend group has a game called not enough mana. It’s a drinking game where once you spend all your mana, the only way to get more mana is to take a shot or do a challenge. No one has ever done a challenge. The next morning is painful

For real. Diablo was the last blizzard IP I cared about and I’m so thoroughly unhyped about this announcement. The game is 3 years old!
