I need to force myself to rewatch it. I watched it when it first came out and laughed my ass off. Then I watched it again about 10 years ago and didn’t laugh as much. It wasn’t a stretch anymore.
That movie ages so weirdly. I remember like 15 years ago, people on reddit were like: lol this is le literally waht’s happening. Later when someon said something like that, people were like: aktschually the subplot is that mediocrity is the real enemy. And now it’s back to: lol it’s literally idiocracy. Although i already read some comments one or two days ago how that’s not the point of the movie.
