14·9 days agoSomething similar was done in Japan for walking and texting (or looking at your phone screen). Makes sense the same would translate to all modes of transportation including cars.

Downdate - The practice of dating someone that is a number lower then you. Carly is a 10 dating a 7. Carly is downdating.
Any chance Jellyfin and Finamp have a music playlist and mix building feature?
Plex has this with Plexamp but I have not had a chance to look into jellyfin to see if a plugin offers something similar.
I hate building playlists, Plex offers a few different options like sonic sage, sonic adventure, artist mix builder, and automatic mixes based on past listening history.

9·23 days agoLook into Rufus, it will help you create a bootable USB with windows 11 and you can use it to do a upgrade or clean install from your windows 10 installation (clean install preferred IMO), it will even help bypass the hardware requirements and you can even remove the email account and use a local account. Make sure to use or write down your windows 10 activation/license for a clean install.
That being said you could potentially still run the old wondows OS, but as time goes on new exploits could be found that can compromise the OS. If its behind a firewall such as your router its safer, but there is still the possibility of it being infected way off into the future.
Here is a video of windows XP running on a PC connected directly to the internet with no firewall. Its infected almost instantaneously. (Dont try this at home).

I used this guide for a nvidia shield to de-bloat the OS. You may be able to follow the de-bloat instructions here for any other android device.
Its like the planet is trying to heal it’s self by making it harder for use to travel and burn fossil fuels.
I find nothing wrong with this movement, but at the same time I almost feel like this movement is exactly what “government’s” may want. Less educated individuals having children means more uneducated voters in the long run.
Kind of like that scene in Idiocracy (2006).
