Why would this ever be an asset for the presidency? It’s completely unrelated to the skills involved and doesn’t demonstrate any particular merit of bravery or understanding the costs of war. Some people would say that when you are commander in chief it’s good tha5 you have military experience. So far, JD Vance is the only person with such experience.
