I’m looking for fediverse platforms that implement threaded discussions similar to Lemmy, where you can see the entire conversation with different indentation levels. I’m not interested in the linear conversation display style found on Mastodon. Does anyone know of other platforms that offer this tree-like conversation structure?
Fedilab (Mastodon client for Android) has threaded discussions.
Trunks is another Mastodon app that has threading too.
Firefish does, I think, but not as well as Lemmy or Kbin. However, it’s somewhat client-dependent on other platforms. While Mastodon official clients (web and mobile) don’t have it Fedilab connected to the same Mastodon servers does.
Friendica hasn’t been mentioned, it is threaded by default. Its where I started my fediverse journey.
Honestly I think it’s just lemmy and kbin. Lotide and narwhal.city but you can’t access those through an app web browser only
Lotide has hoot as an app. Not a great app due to missing/broken features, but it does exist and work.
Dang. Idk what to do. Am I retarded? These are the only instances that the app will let you login to. But they are not doing open sign ups
Am I doing something wrong?
FBXL Lotide has open sign-ups. I’m the admin there.
But thinking about it, as I said the app is a little dodgy so some of the stuff you need to do from the web, and the app is just a nice interface.
Yea, thank you man I appreciate it. Yes I’m already on your server social.fbxl.net lol Yours quite literally, is the only I use that’s it.
I’m just I guess spoiled? And want a mobile app. I’m not a fan of pwas no matter how pretty. So I tend to bitch about that like a little baby sometimes lol
I get it. I’d prefer a shinier app.
