Keir Starmer has suggested the US is trying to interfere in British democracy after JD Vance, the US vice-president, blamed the murder of the British teenager Henry Nowak on mass migration.

The prime minister’s office responded after the senior Republican politician claimed in a post on X that Nowak would be alive “if the last few generations of European elites had stood their ground against the politics of self-hatred and the mass invasion of migrants, many of whom despise the West and the people who love it”.

Downing Street did not name Vance directly but said its response to his comments was that “in recent days we have seen people trying to interfere in our democracy and seeking to stir up division on our streets”.

Americans are so lucky not to have any murders or incompetent police officers. They should tell Brits how they did it.

Ah yes the Great Democracy that has banned peaceful protest if it “causes a disturbance”. The one that bans entry to any person with a political opinion the government does not like. The one that [checks news] revoked the licence of a doctor for two years in response to her participation in a peaceful protest…

Vance’s opinion is that of Peter Thiel and he is told what to say. Not sure why he keeps getting a soapbox to stand on, I guess it’s the media billionaires offering up a megaphone for a minion that walks and talks like them. Traditionally, his type of blather is not a function of the vice-presidency.

Mass migration isn’t the problem, the problem is lack of oversight into what kind of people are coming into civilised countries, anyone that can so simply stab someone, lie to let them die shouldn’t have ever been allowed to come into the UK or any other country that has proper human rights against murder and rape, but these people aren’t educated and are incapable of integrating, so they shouldn’t be allowed entry.

Proper oversight is needed so people that are actually interested in a better life can be given that chance and those that seek chaos should stay home.

I’m currently working and living over 8 years in another country in a place that is about 1300 kilometres away from home so i’m kinda familiar with the whole process of moving to another country and making a life there but sure racism is what you got from my comment. And you are an ignorant twat.

What has Prince Andrew to do with mass immigration? Never read such nonsense, but what else can I expect from leftist 🤷‍♂️AFAIK they never work, always the others have to pay, never take responsibility for their actions, it is always the others’ fault … they are lost cases.

Now you can downvote me into oblivion, because this is the only thing you can do 😂😂😂

What has immigration to do with one British person stabbing another. Seems even your complaining about non-sequitors is biased. What else can we expect from the right wing except selective outrage.

As you’re engaging in bad faith allow me to: what we should really be worried about is white on white violence. Knife crime in the UK isn’t all that bad, when you remove white gang activity, even more so when you remove men-on-men violence.

All of which to highlight, your position isn’t a serious one genuinely held. You don’t dislike non-sequitors, you engage in them. You disliked their argument, and it is convenient for you to say you don’t like non-sequitors in this moment. You aren’t serious. This culture war nonsense, the British right loves so much, is merely a distraction from the Epstein class robbing us blind.
