Not a fan of the last few games?

76 was a bit different, but I still liked it overall once the bugs were worked out. I thought FO4 was decent too, even though I wasn’t all that interested in the base-building component.

They are moving away from RPG aspects, and further into shooter aspects. FO3 was very good, FNV was great. FO4 wasn’t, never even replayed it for the DLCs. Though it was extra meh to me for its main hook, I don’t much care for children.

Fallout 4 VR is fun and the only way I’d play that game ever again. NV and even 3 were way better.

I’m trying not to spoil tok much of it for myself but it’s unavoidable seeing some stuff with social media as it is these days, but from what I’ve seen of the conversation screens I looks more RPG again, things like your build, stats, origin, etc play into it instead of just four options like FO4

If it’s primarily a shooter, I don’t really care much how many RPG elements they add. FNV was still primarily an RPG and it showed.

Bugs were your major issue with the game? That’s it?

Personally I didn’t like 76 because it’s boring. There’s nothing fun to do and story is told through terminals FFS.

I don’t understand why they couldn’t just make a normal Fallout game with real people in it. You could do it Borderlands/Dead Island-style, where people can jump in on your session, or go full role-play and give people real jobs with real duties. Or a hybrid where you can either be a RPer, or a wanderer in a server where the RP jobs are replaced by NPCs. Either option would have worked better than the crap we got.

They added them later but I think they under populated servers when looking at players to be content. It’s actually quite good and has been for a while, ive been considering another play through.

It’s just a matter of opinion I suppose.

With all the changes they made post launch I really think the game got a lot better. They ended up updating it to be much more like a trypical Fallout game. I enjoyed it more than FO4 in some ways.

The story wasn’t as good as NV or FO3, but the mechanics, world/envoronment, and new mutants were all great IMO.

I hope so too! Fallout is my favorite world/universe in video games. Even though it was HBO The Last of Us gives me hope for this.

Big news. If they are going with the lore of the games it will be interesting what year they choose

it’s already a wasteland out here, the city is a trash can and i find cool shit just walking around all the time. you know why? years of experience looting everything in Fallout games. i don’t have the strong back perk for nothing.

It would be nice if not everything were set in Southern California (yes, I’m exaggerating slightly). But it does make sense, I guess, since LA is a dump. Only place I’ve spent significant time in that I liked less than New Jersey. Well, Florida is in the running.
