Donald Trump on Sunday called on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to halt strikes on Russian diesel, saying the attacks are causing a fuel shortage.

Ukraine’s long-range strikes have been targeting Russia’s oil and gas industry for months, which Kyiv says both funds and directly fuels Moscow’s more than four-year-old invasion of its neighbor.

The Ukrainian drone campaign has caused fuel rationing across Russia, despite the country being a key oil and gas exporter. Other Ukrainian strikes targeted major Russian online retailers, bringing the war ever closer to the public.

Oh now he’s suddenly concerned lmao.

Funny, he didn’t seem concerned when fucking the Hormuz Strait and then lifting oil sanctions for Putin to sell off oil at a premium.

Hope Ukraine doubles their strike rate.

That’s because increasing the price of oil so Russia could sell at a premium was a nice side effect of attacking Iran, if not part of the main reasons in the first place. It wouldn’t surprise me if documents declassified decades down the line reveal that was a primary reason for attacking Iran alongside doing whatever Israel wants.
