    Not exactly at release, but until close to release. They did the entire thing for PC and then ported to the consoles at last minute, and by the time they realised the scale of the issues, especially on previous-gen consoles, it was too late to change the release date.

      There were probably plenty of people working there that knew there would be issues on consoles…

      Was just lucky it got removed from the stores as a result, thus effectively to delaying the console releases without needing approval from executives… 😅

      That’s just the sort of thing that happens when there’s financial pressure and a need to meet holiday market timing…

      I guess the silver lining is that the game would probably be worse had they limited themselves to last gen consoles.

        They probably pre-sold it before even running it.

        Honestly, making sure it works well on low-ish machines also makes it work better on high end.
