In Mexico, politicians are in cahoots with drug trafficking and are corrupt. They often partner with various cartels in exchange for large sums of money. You might think this is unfounded, but it’s not actually true.
But I understand their situation because the DOJ already labels anyone as a criminal, and when they’re doing something right, it ends up being confused with something wrong.
