It feels like you just wanna argue for arguing’s sake.
The condom isn’t perfect and shouldn’t be treated as such. As good as it may be, it’s not a panacea.
And when it comes to sexual experimentation, depending on a thin piece of plastic to protect you from everything you might want to try is quite unrealistic.
I think we are not fundamentally disagreeing. Condoms alone are not a protection against all the bad things that could occur while sexually experimenting.
My initial point was that if one is going to experiment, there are ways to mitigate risks. Condoms are one such measure, and they are ridiculously effective compared to the effort they require.
Being sexually uneducated will still make things risky, but if I’m faced with someone who has decided to fuck their way through Europe, you bet the very least I would tell them is to always have a condom with them.
The original and most basic point of a condom is to stop pregnancy. If it can’t even do that why would you feel confident in its ability to do anything else?
I don’t think your grasp of statistics and logic is quite there yet.
Because something may fail doesn’t mean it is useless. Because something may happen doesn’t mean it will.
It also comes out with his new techniques. Win win?
And so, so many STDs.
You might not be aware but condoms are a thing.
The condom’s not a messiah and you shouldn’t treat it as such.
They are more effective at stopping STDs, STIs, and unwanted pregnancies than thoughts and prayers though.
Certainly more effective at stopping teenage pregnancy than abstinence only sex ed too.

Sortez couverts !
Fundamentally yeah.
Mate a condom isn’t even guaranteed to stop a pregnancy.
And fucking your wife every single day is no guarantee she will get pregnant. What’s your point?

I never called it useless mate, I meant that it doesn’t have a hundred percent success rate for its original use.
Because its better then raw doggin, and pretty much the only option for preventing STDs at all, even if not 100%
This comment made me lose some brain cells. How can you not stop to think for one second before posting this?
“A car is not guaranteed to get you from A to B, it could break down on the way. So its basically useless”
“A jacket doesnt guarantee protection from rain, why would you think it can keep you warm?”
“A toothbrush doesnt get rid of all the bacteria in your mouth, waste of time”
The moment you realize the world isnt made up of 1 and 0.
The guy I’m replying to said condoms, no ifs, buts, or maybes, would stop an STD.
Now, I can appreciate my comment might not be the best phrased, but I am the problem here? Ok. I’ll be better.
They didnt and I dont think you even believe that yourself. Just re-read the comment chain.
Because people in a relationship automatically spread more STDs than singles fucking around?
