No, no plans for turning Dreeve into a tracker like Runkeeper or Strava

haha thanks :)!

There is definitely an issue queue in the repo: https://github.com/dreeveapp/dreeve/issues. We also have a discord channel: https://discord.gg/p4zpZyCHNc

Check my other reply, we have a “watch” folder functionality

Yes, you can just configure your watch folder to be the one where you export your Garmin FIT files: https://docs.dreeve.app/#/importing/file-import

And indeed, Dreeve is a sports analytics tool. Sleep data is not included

Well, some people care about security and want to stay away rom fully vibe-coded apps. So I get that these kinds of posts benefit from a disclosure

• We moved away from 3rd party vendor lock-ins. For the time being you need to manually upload your activity files. We are going to release separate containers to setup integrations though, for example dreeve-garmin-connector
• Endurain aims to be a self-hosted alternative for Strava, Dreeve is just a “simple” stat-driven app that chews numbers and shows you some fancy charts :)

Thanks for pointing this out! Addressed in a comment on the post

[AIP] Disclosure:

• No AI was used to write this post
• AI was used for the geo spatial functions as well as proper UX decisions
• There’s an optional, opt-in AI workout assistant

Assisted - AI acts on part of a task, but a human handled the bulk.

Yes indeed you do, hence the name ;)

Not sure what you are referring to?
