Quite the leap, eh?
Quite the leap, eh?
Fully agree Israel has a right to defend itself but what it seems to be doing now is more akin to invasive eradication than defense. They are on the offensive. Why does 1.2K dead in Israel justify 18K dead, hospitals targeted and destroyed, and a forced emigration of citizens in Gaza?
If a terrorist organization ruled the US I’m sure more than half the country would vote in support either out of blind nationalism or fear. Putin’s got >90% support, eh? I don’t think it’s fair to say any recent election in Gaza is unbiased. It would also seem not so unreasonable that to the people of Gaza, Hamas looks more friendly than Israel recently.
At a corporate level I agree, I could not give less of a shit.
At a peer level, it sucks, like it would at any job where a team member is dead weight.
Rest n vest is a problem at most of the major US tech companies.
Why can’t I downvote!?
This guy is a troll
NASA is not part of the DOD, they report directly to the White House.
The boomerism you exude is not a good look.
Lmfao! I’d go as simple as NIMBY boomerism.
Can you read? NASA does not have a contract with SpaceX to deploy starlink satellites.
And it’s better that they burn up than get stuck in orbit. We have enough space debris out there as it is.
When exactly is “before”? We’ve had a space program since the 50’s. You know, when we landed on the moon.
Perhaps a corporate income tax or a billionaire wealth tax should be used to pay for food for starving people. Since, you know, corporate profits and billionaires actually do nothing to help the populus.
And while we’re at it, why not universal healthcare?
When starlink satellites fall down?
NASA doesn’t pay for starlink. NASA pays for SpaceX to launch NASA’s satellites, NASA astronauts, and DoD satellites. And this is a pretty good deal given that these rocket launches are the most bang for buck efficient rockets in the entire history of launching rockets.
Life was better before our government prioritized corporate profits over increasing the base quality of human life. SpaceX contributes to the latter by providing continued access to space and the research that goes along with it while also eliminating our dependence on Russia.
What are you arguing for as the alternative? Do nothing?-:
So are you saying you’d rather pay Boeing and Lockheed for a shittier way to access space that they don’t even have working?
Nobody is denying that NASA pays SpaceX for services.
2B to SpaceX, the most advanced rocket company on the planet fully run by Americans since they deal with DoD. Access to space is not a bad thing.
Agree people are starving. We’re a country at peace spending >700B on the military industrial complex. Try shaving that down.
You have no idea whether they’re profitable or what the sources of income are…since they’re private…
The entire company is not funded by NASA
I bet calculator usage also goes up during the school year
Can you provide more detail on the physics?
In all fairness though both Hammond and May currently own Teslas.
