The org you speak of has lobbied heavily against end to end encryped communication. Their efforts are much more anti sex work than actual human trafficking and they sell tracking tools to police.

Me the mega genius can solve any problem but oddly the solutions always benefit my financial interests in countries with brutal dictatorships.

I hadn’t been on irc in over a decade. The issue is I don’t know anymore where anyone actually hangs out. Sure there are plenty of niche servers for software projects but as a general use sort of thing I really don’t know where to start again.

I don’t know man, I found my first sales job pretty disgusting at the age of 18. There is just a lot of accepting how the world you arrive in to works I guess.

Depending on the severity it could really be a societal roll of the dice. Could be for the better or for the worse but either way it would cause a decent amount of suffering in the short term.

It’s like watching the village bully try to harass the village bull. It’s not like you are friends with the bull but you’re definitely going to watch the aftermath.

All a politician really needed at the time was a half way decent speech pandering to patriotism and you were remembered for being a strong leader at the time.

I have several family members that will refuse to eat anything that they know has garlic in it. Those were never the most adventurous people though.

I would probably drop 50 cents to read a single article from a news site that I’m not on consistantly but expecting normals paying for 3 or 4 $10 a month subscriptions for news seems to be what is expected and that is just not realistic.

This may not be what you mean but it looks much better to me with texture filtering off.

At the time of these religions being formed the Middle East was being rapidly urbanized and deforested and had desertification issues as a result. Pigs seek shade in hot days and water but if given no other option they will follow in just mud and their own filth. Clearly many other cultures didn’t run in to these problems like in China pigs were held in good regard for helping to clean streets in ancient Chinese cities.
