i like this one, very inclusive

do people like, know their doctors like that? its always just been get a letter saying get vaccinated, we book, and its some random NHS place and a doctor ive never seen

never had to at the dentist and luckily the doctors said i need no more vaccines (unless we get another covid kinda deal or i travel to a country with foreign illnesses) so its not something i have to worry about for a while
thinking about it makes me feel a little light headed though, and normally i enjoy having phantom sense for stuff like asmr and vr but its also a curse when i think about needles and i can feel one in my arm where they do the vaccines. not fun

i dont have a problem with vaccines, theyre great and im glad they help people
but, recieving one is absolutely terrifying to be, due to some needle related trauma, and generally causes me to pass out or vomit :/

i dont like making things political but its so easy to get swept up in the discussion 😅 gotta love being hyperimpulsive
i like to use chaotic AUR, saves some time but keeps the general convenience

it uses my phone microphone, and amplifies speech from what it ggets there, then sends it to the earphones. it kinda took a lot of fiddling with settings to get it to be able to generally pick out speech, and i have to hold my phone mic up to my friends like an interviewer if its very noisy, but my parents wont get me checked for it and hearing aids are expensive lol

theyre just some lenovo ones that clip around the back of my ear, got em for a fiver on aliexpress lol, not the highest quality but they have a low delay mode which is good for this

well, technically i dont use hearing aids, but really theyre discreet bluetooth earphones that connect to my phone and ive set it so when they connect, the android Sound Amplifier app starts, and amplifies speech but not background noise. its a little awkward but it helps :3

APD mentioned 🔥(i need hearing aids)
seconding this, my gf struggles with tech, i put her laptop on linux mint and shes had a much easier time using it
