I have both systems. Linux on desktop, MacOS on my M3 Macbook Pro. I went with the latter because mainly because of battery life and colour accuracy (for graphical work).
That said, with system level AI and all the surveillance bullshit coming to the UK, I will probably start dual booting Asahi if/when it’s released for the M3. MacOS will just be for photo/video editing. A shame, because I’ll be giving up the battery life.

Don’t know about Bazzite but performance wise, there isn’t a huge difference between Arch and Cachy.
If I recall, CachyOS comes preconfigured with a few things, including Steam. Most of it is quite simple to setup on Arch. You can also use Cachy’s kernel in Arch to test for any performance gains if you want to.
I would say if you already have CachyOS installed, there’s no point replacing it with Arch. CachyOS is Arch underneath anyway.
I’ve been using Librewolf since the new CEO came in and the “we never sell your data” bit was removed from the user agreement. Then shortly after then shipped Firefox with AI enabled by default. I don’t trust them.
What kind of cooling do you have? Do your fans actually run? Like do they ramp up when your CPU is hitting 100+?
Probably worth changing your thermal paste, slightly excessive paste is better than too little paste. Whilst there, make sure you’ve removed the film from the CPU cooler and make sure it’s seated properly.
Go into your bios and adjust your fan curve for CPU, whilst you’re there turn off zero RPM or adjust its temperature so that the fans turn on sooner. Use something like LACT do the same for your GPU.
Your idle temps aren’t too bad but something isn’t right if you’re hitting 100C+ at load. Especially on that CPU.
Waiting to see how the fans defend this one. Glad I didn’t buy the Switch 2.
