That looks like such a cool device! I’ve been wondering what to replace my 2017 macbook with in the next few years and it’s nice to see more options to consider. Maybe it won’t be a refurbished ThinkPad.
For Monado on Windows iirc the current state is that it works but not with real hardware (which is usually well supported officially anyway) due to lack of drivers. Now if it becomes the only platform to keep supporting WMR the developer incentive is definitely there.
I’ve had this error upon random reboots after upgrading to Linux 6.8 on 5950x. Went back to 6.7.9 and hasn’t happened again since. What version are you on? Would be interesting to know.
No, third-party browsing engines are not a thing that’s been implemented yet, and might never be by Firefox. This is about a screen that prompts EU users to pick a browser rather than defaulting to Safari and leaving it up to them to install another.
I’m so excited for this, these classic car additions reduce a lot of staleness I’ve felt with the game.
And the largest ever decoder since it’ll need the whole model to work. I’m not particularly knowledgeable on AI but I’ll assume this will occupy hundreds of gigabytes, correct me if I’m wrong there. In comparison, libdav1d, an av1 decoder, weighs less than 2 MB.
Including a direct link to the form in the very first sentence of the article is such a baller move by the author.
That’s funny that you mention hardware, cause in Germany you pay a set fee for each device (13.19€ for a computer, 6.25€ for a phone) on purchase since it could be used to create copies of media.
I’m just getting my money’s worth, officer.
Me with a Vega 64… the forgotten platform. A few games will just straight up reset my gpu with certain instructions, taking the whole system with it. I can’t even play Minecraft with a Mesa version newer than 2 years anymore due to regressions.
Good thing to know 7800 XT is also cursed though, I was planning on getting that one to escape my situation. lol.
As a fan of Sega’s Jet Set Radio, we got Bomb Rush Cyberfunk by an indie which is so much of a clone that it’s considered an unofficial sequel, and we all love it.
The pain in her voice made me cry uncontrollably, what a powerful video. I hope we have a future, not just for us and our children’s sake but also so people like her can have their legacy imprinted on the victor’s side of history.
The article is referencing a benchmark that was run on desktop hardware so not clickbait. Likely they mentioned the handhelds in the article for ref link revenue.
Fun fact: w3schools has nothing to do with w3c and there used to be a whole website dedicated to giving them shit. They’ve apparently gotten much better these days though.
Beeper’s backend is also fully open-source, there’s nothing stopping you from hosting your own iMessage bridge and accessing it via any matrix client.
Some workers might be drawn into agriculture to grow more crops like legumes. That shift in labor, some researchers hypothesize, could slow economic growth by pulling people out of more profitable industries.
Economic growth is more important than the climate. Also, what. If in theory everyone went vegan (which is what the article hypothesises), how would meat be a more profitable industry.
Jesus what the hell is going on in those comments over there.
Even the Pi has lost its headphone jack…
I think it’s time for a refactor of my legacy code that deals with infinite timezones. :/
