Plex hasn’t been getting better, but it still does what I need. I have a lifetime pass from years ago. If I was starting today I would be a lot less inclined to pay for Plex though. They keep adding things I don’t want.
The definition of pedophilia is sexual attraction towards children. So if the anime characters are all clearly representing children, then sure, why not count that.
The thing is, there is a lot of art that is kind of vague on age. The loli girl stuff creeps me out. But the older teenager / young adult anime/art feels a little more like general human brain. Especially if the user isn’t trying to seek it out. No one is perfect.
But in this case obviously sexualizing something that looks like a child is creepy. Elon’s age is not helping him either…
Eh, enough if their content can exist fine without calling anyone out. I don’t think it’s what any of them really want to do, they prefer to focus on games. I feel like they mostly call out individual game performance.
You are right in that their consistency in what they get upset about seems inconsistent. It does feel like it might depend on what company was nice to them recently. But I still think the heart of their content works even with that issue.
Optimized settings was my favorite thing too.
Don’t a lot of platforms online not let you buy Monero because of this? Like how do people buy Monero through a reputable source?
Bitcoin specifically was never meant as a currency. There is a reason why people call it “digital gold”. I do find myself hesitant to buy it since people buy it with the goal of getting rich, it ruins the entire point.
In theory I actually love the idea of Bitcoin, something independent of resources. I know that sounds weird, but the moment asteroid mining gets big, traditional money storage will get rocked, hard. While something like Bitcoin, in theory, would be safe.
I see deregulation as generally a bad thing if you want any of this to be taken seriously and not be manipulated. At least, for most of them. In theory you could have a crypto that is very resilient to manipulation, I just don’t know if that exists right now.
The way they use the term ‘expansion’ in the article confused me. They are just talking about how the free content updates have been moved to be sooner than originally planned. They aren’t taking about DLC or an entire paid expansion.
It’s probably good the content comes out sooner seeing as how many lose interest at the current drip feed if content. I wish they would fix the games actual problems though. Or even just the hardware issues.
It would help if there were guarantees you could download via Nintendo servers for X years as long as the company exists. They would never agree, but something like 40 years. Then if the company no longer exists it’s given to the community.
It’s true though, unless something crazy like that became normal, physical games have significantly more value. I do think that the average person cares more about price and convenience today vs whatever happens tomorrow.
If I’ve learned anything about the corporate world is that they only want metrics that confirm the views they hold or want to push. I think you have a point though. These are metrics that they can reference when trying to get advertising money. If I was an advertiser I’d care more about how many are not bots though.
