I didn’t talk to Isobel until I pretty much explored all of the Shadow Lands and some of the Gauntlet. I was putting off talking to Jaheira so I didn’t even know about Isobel until I saw her doing her mirror moon fireworks show from across the roof and was like “that looks like a big thing I’ll come back later”.

In a way I get it, your way of life is being discriminated against. But with thousands of years of history and present day to go off of, I still feel it’s a good thing.

I kinda compare it to smoking cigarettes. There are a ton of people who do it, but it’s so obviously unhealthy. I won’t go on with the analogy, but you can get pretty grim with it.

You can have a fulfilling and culture filled life without blind hope for a greater power and possibly being negatively influenced by that belief; either through authority figures in your church or you’re own interpretations of religious teachings.

Another thing I saw mentioned was that it’s a state run school. Separation of church and state is something I vehemently agree with. So while it might suck for you, your grandchildren will be better off because they’re not losing anything.

I think it needs to be said that even with some of the bugs and rare crashes, (I haven’t crashed yet in 100 hours but there have been times I thought it might, ymmv) they are almost inconsequential given the sheer depth of the game. I can forgive things like that when you just take into how many different ways you can engage with the content. I say almost because they are certainly there and you should definitely save before and after most encounters and very often, along with pruning your excess saves when the file gets too big.

Apart from that, this is GOTY easily.

What level are you? I did it at level 9 without issue. Marcus was paralyzed immediately and died the first turn, then with everyone in the Last Light, we easily cleaned everything else up.

Yeah because it’s pretty seamless. Press H, click on any of the solutions or salts with a number greater than zero meaning you have stuff to create, extract all for literally everything which is just going through and clicking the button. Then you can see what elixirs, potions, poisons, and grenades you can make; then I just make the best things and leave the lesser potions unmade for the “any salt/solution/whatever” slot for later.
