  • There’s a lot to pick out here.

My favorite personally (as a Neocon) is Trumps utter flubbing of the Afghanistan question. Harris criticized Trumps handling of Afghanistan by inviting the fucking Taliban to Camp David… While Trump talked about imaginary Taliban members he talked with.

    Who the fuck is Abdul?

Trump not only admitted to working with the Taliban directly, but was so fucking braindead he couldn’t even remember the name of the guy he invited to Camp David. This is going to be my meme.

But it doesn’t matter what moment you meme. What matters is that you MUST meme these moments and spread them far and wide. We will consolidate on what works afterwards.

  • We need to get ahead of this. In a few short hours, maybe just a day or two, they will consolidate support around Trump again.

Our job is to meme the best lines of Trump’s insanity as much as possible, and spread the message far and wide. Trump is easily manipulated by Kamala. Trump’s only leaders he respected tonight were Venezuela and Hungary / Orban. I dunno, I’m bad with memes. But you all get the gist.

/r/conservative will get itself together shortly. But we need to spike the football tonight.

  • Any sane member of society not in a cult remembers.

No. There’s plenty of people who forgot, and more importantly, plenty of 18-year-olds (or younger) who were not yet politically awake when that happened. That was over 6 years ago, when these 18-year-olds were 12 and not even in high-school yet.

Its our job to meme Kamala’s response to this. Kamala brought it up in today’s debate, and we now need to teach the world about her response. Direct from her mouth.

And we also need to meme Donald Trump’s insane response to the Camp David discussion point. The young voters won’t learn unless we teach it to them.

And there’s plenty of ~16 to 25 year olds who are “only waking up politically today”, who need to be shown this history and context.

  • I’d give you a length explanation about statistical methodology and validity, but I’d rather not to that unsolicited, lol.

I know how complex it is.

I’m approximately college-level statistics. But my sister is literally PH.d level in health-statistics (or more precisely: public health) and worked at the CDC and today works for FDA. Trust me, I get plenty of the advanced discussions / paradoxes / autocorrelation / etc. etc. stuff. So I know I’m out of my league in the overall matter, and that I’m oversimplifying.

  • 11 leaned Harris, 10 leaned Trump. And yet, 22 of them said Kamala won the debate, and only 2 of them (obviously “leans Trump”) said Trump won.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/elections/interactive/2024/presidential-debate-voter-poll/?itid=hp-top-table-main_p001_f002

Participants were recruited from a spring survey conducted by The Post and the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University. In the week before the debate, 12 said they would probably vote for Harris, 10 said they would probably vote for Trump, and three said they were unlikely to vote for either.

24 isn’t a very large poll, but this is an outstanding result. I’m pretty sure 91.6% Kamala vs 8.4% Trump is outside statistical error even with such a small sample size.

Kamala did good tonight people. Its a celebration night. But the next weeks its our job as debate watchers to meme and fuck up the Republican talking points and pain-points in their discussions.

Remember the pain points: “I have a concept of a plan”, “Tim and I are gun owners, no one is taking your guns away”, and the fucking nonsense Donald Trump did to defend himself when he invited the literal fucking Taliban to Camp. David.

Not everyone saw the debate. And even those who have seen the debate will have selective memory and forget about these moments. Its our job as the audience to remind people what they’re trying to hard to forget. That Donald Trump is a weak loser and Kamala put him in his place tonight.

  • Maybe it is in the benefit of Harris given his rambling but I don’t know.

Its absolutely to the benefit of Harris.

All these comments were likely what was pushing Biden down and distracting Biden when Trump’s mic was off. Now that the mic remains on, Trump is clearly the one trying to fuck up Kamala. But she’s much quicker on the uptake and can judo-throw him off of her. The mic makes it obvious when Trump is attempting to distract.

  • Neocons have lost power to the Tea Party yo.

You’re pretending like Paul Ryan didn’t stand up to the Tea Part and get deposed. Or McCain get discredited as Trump rose up.

But sure, forget our political struggle at your own peril. You need us this election.

Two party system. The only real action Neocons have is to vote Republican or Democrat. Democrats are very much against our values (abortion, and historically Democrats were stupidly antiwar and this wouldn’t have supported Ukraine. But I’m glad to see Democrats turn around on that. Etc. etc). But there’s a lot of alignment now if you wish to take advantage.

Neocons are a subgroup of the Republican base you 100% should be trying to switch over. It’s politically stupid to ignore this opportunity.

  • Believe me when I say this: Neocons actually have principles (even if you don’t agree with them. Though I’m pretty sure you agree with America should be the shining beacon for the world / pro-food stamps / etc. etc. kind of conservatism).

The fact remains: it’s the Neocons who wish for Trump to be defeated the most. The Republican party’s march away from policy and the dangerous stint of radical isolationism has harmed Neocons.

It’s the treasonous Libertarian techbros, racists and MAGAts who you want defeated.

And you should cater favor from the Neocons, who largely want USA to stay active abroad and gain strength through diplomacy and policy.

We both agree on Ukraine (even if we disagree on Israel), and we likely agree on Taiwan. We likely agree on global trade and USA protecting it as well.
