For me, I can see 7 chats on signal, 9 chats on WhatsApp. There are tons of wasted space on signal for me. It just looks bad to my eyes.

The thing I hate about signal is the UI. Everything looks way too big on my device. WhatsApp, for example, holds 2 more chats, and the messages themselves are tidier.
This may seem like it’s not a big deal, but UI is absolutely crucial on order to get people to actually use the app. I moved a few people to signal but they just hated the way it looks. “seems like an app for old people, font too big”. I can see that. They moved back to insta/WhatsApp.
I think some small and easy UI changes could make the app much better: just give us a “compact” mode.
I use macrodroid instead, though I have also paid for Tasker.
I just find macrodroid much easier to use. I learned to use Tasker, then was not using it for a few months, went back to it to implement something and god damm, what a horrible UI. I had forgotten how to use it. Decided to try macrodroid and it is just so beautiful and easy…
I am currently using authy. I would like an open source alternative, of course, but seeing how important 2fa is, I require proper sync/backups, like authy has. I don’t want to manage them myself with google drive or the likes, as I don’t even have a google acc.
Which are you using now?

Does this vpn trick really work? I tried it on some other things and it never worked. It takes the location from the credit card.
If one needs a spotify login (and I suppose premium account?) to download in 320kbps, then there really is no reason to not use spotify directly, I suppose.
I am looking for the best way to ditch spotify completely. I need songs in 320kbps though. Maybe torrenting is the way, though it is hard to find songs.
This seems amazing. Let me make sure I understand. I can have a free version of Spotify, add music to some playlist, and then have spotiflyer download the playlist in good quality (320kbps)?
Does it download differential? That is, if I add a new song to a playlist, can it download only that new song?
Edit: When going to the details of the downloaded files, all of them are bitrate “128 kb/s”, even though I selected 320 in spotiflyer…
How is the quality of the music downloaded from doubledouble?
They need to finally release the usernames feature. That will probably make it much more usable. At some point I managed to convince some of my friends to use signal, but ever since they removed sms support, even I don’t use it.
They should have waited for usernames to remove the sms support.
Can we get the TLDR bot in slrpnk.net? Not sure how that works… @[email protected]
Sorry, but what do you mean by this? Supposedly an offense, or am I reading it wrong?
The day this guy dies, I will throw a party. And I hate parties.
