They’re propping up an ineffective leader. As long as he’s in charge, the Republicans can’t seem to agree on much or get much done. He’s the perfect stooge.

Won’t have to if the Dems take the House back next year.
In 1929, each representative represented about 283k Americans. Now each representative represent about 762k Americans. That’s almost a 300% increase. This means each American’s voice is only about 1/3rd as powerful as it was in 1929. To have as much political power as they did in 1929, we’d need about 1200 Representatives.
Saw a pic of him in a car with his arm out the window, pointing it at the camera, with his finger on the god damn trigger. If that thing was loaded he was a speed bump away from re-enacting the “Oh man, I shot Marvin in the face” scene. What a fucking tool.
It’s almost like their workers should form some sort of association so that they could collectively work to negotiate with Amazon on a more equal footing. Too bad that never happened ever in the history of the human workforce. Sure would be nice, though. Oh, wait…
Who do you think is really running the show? An incompetent grifter or a former member of the KGB?
Like games that came out three years before!
Ding We got a winner!
I get what you’re saying, but what is the return on those, though? Does it compare to the returns selling a phone? I mean, it could be better returns selling parts, but companies as big as Apple tend to get moribund in their view of the revenue stream. The current model works, so why mess with it?
Cognitive dissonance is a hell of a thing. These are people who refuse to admit when they’re wrong, so rather than admit that they were wrong about the Republicans, they just find ways to justify it instead to soothe their psyche. And the people running the show know this and use this to great effect.
Probably avoiding the possibility of a libel case.
I think that foot fetish being the largest is iffy. I think it’s the most well known and has gotten more acceptable as models on OF and such are down with indulging a fetish as non-invasive as feet. I mean, I doubt they’re complaining about having to get another pedicure at a high end day spa that is being paid for by some rich guy in exchange for exclusive pictures. It’s also easy to promote on social media as none of them are banning pictures of feet compared to getting a community guidelines strike for just showing a bit of cleavage.
Right? Or maybe watching the first part of a show until the first commercial to determine if I want to take the time to find it elsewhere.
Right? It’s like people forgot about that one Republican talking about how he knew women who’d gotten married when they were 12 and were happy when defending their state’s child marriage laws.
These are true believers and those who want to see if they can get in on some of the action. Whether their client wins or loses, they will have name recognition as the lawyer who defended Trump. That alone is worth a lot of money, probably more than they’re getting stiffed.
These are children’s books, not “advanced sexual theory”, whatever the fuck that is. Learning about LGBTQ+ people is not inherently sexual. If it is, then any book showing any relationship, LGBTQ+ or cishet, is “advanced sexual theory”. LGBTQ+ people exist that way from birth just like cishet people do. The sooner children realize that what they are is not unusual and not “wrong”, the less emotional and psychological trauma they will face.
“A fool and their money are soon parted” paired with “there’s a sucker born every minute” are the chief things keeping the MAGA cult alive.
The Republicans don’t want votes
against themto be legitimate.
Honestly, if he hadn’t smack talked them the day after they got that 45 day budget passed, they probably would back him. Hell, if we didn’t need to get the big budget passed in 45 days, they’d probably do it just to fuck with the Republicans. Or they could fuck with McCarthy by voting for him and making the GOP think he’s cut a secret deal with the Dems.
