2 months agoIn marching band, I learned you can get pretty much everywhere with a white polo, black slacks, and (optionally) an instrument. The same usually holds true for a hi-vis vest and jeans.

90% of the time, I type out a comment, only to hit cancel and move on. It’s surprisingly cathartic.
72·3 months agoAnother example of Big Media always twisting the narrative! They didn’t “pass wind,” they FARTED! Stop diverting the blame!
I was explaining to my kid what a cassette was, and then I realized that I had to explain what physical media was first. Like, no, movies and music didn’t always just materialize out of the magic light-box.
Also had to explain to a nephew what the save icon was. That was funny.
Yeah! It’s crazy; it was one of the bigger mass extinction events. It rusted all of the exposed iron on the planet too, which I think is just cool.
