Assuming Democrats are still around to campaign expect the same milquetoast, center-right bullshit platform of getting things “back to normal” to kill any kind of enthusiasm from their base. Don’t get me wrong I voted for Harris but I’m getting really tired of voting against having evil men in power over someone I actually like. I want Bernie Sanders, not Margaret Thatcher Lite.

I’m calling it. The Fed will start gradually lowering its interest rates down to near 0 as the stock market booms with cheap money. The news will show troubling social and geopolitical problems that will be quickly swept over by the latest Dow Jones and S&P 500 values getting to absurd heights. People will start grumbling about the nation’s problems again while Trump will say it’s the “Deep State” causing all of this and pointing the finger at Democrats and undocumented immigrants.

Inflation starts to spike again at the start of the 4th year of Trump’s presidency. Even more people will start to go homeless as the average monthly cost of a 1 bedroom apartment soars to $3k. If Trump is still “healthy”, the Supreme Court will declare a sitting president can hold on to power during times of emergency and cancel US elections.

Maybe, but you’d have to have more than a dozen exclusive titles for that to matter much compared to the thousands available for PC.

They seriously need to course correct their policy decisions. Capitulation to Israel and corporate interests, playing kingmaker with their presidential candidates, and pandering to conservatives are gutting their support.

To be fair protesters were already being injured and arrested. I know we’re all still hurting at the election loss but let’s not kid ourselves with the current administration either.

I know of a handful of other Latin Americans who still want to vote for the fucker. They can’t articulate why they’d vote for him other than a vague economic reason, even after reminding them of all the heinous shit he spews about people who don’t look like him.

It’s easy to be patient when you have a backlog of games to go through. Paying full price for a game that still has Denuvo or other forms of DRM just isn’t worth it for me. That said, I’m very sad Fantasian will be released with Denuvo soon after years of languishing in Apple Arcade.

It’s really hard to see your point when the American judicial branch is so obviously beholden to party politics and special interests. Judges can be voted on a lifetime appointment by a simple majority of 51 senators, who are likely to represent less than half the voting population of the country. I really think it’s time for clunkier and more archaic forms of democracy to make way for a more direct and agile way to run the government. At the rate we’re going, generations-long problems like climate change will be addressed when it’s too late.

There’s a guy at work who wears a MAGA hat all the time. I often think about telling him I want nothing to do with him liking a fucking Nazi but have to be civil and polite because he also acts the same way. It fucking sucks I can’t tell him what I really think because we’re in a professional setting and it would be stupid to start something up.

Gen alpha’s still quite young so I don’t expect them to contribute much yet. I’m only sorry about the wasted potential because of lazy parents giving them iPads and scummy millennials filling their content feeds with skibidi toilet and other click bait mindrot. The pandemic certainly contributed to their social and technological ineptitude as well.

I don’t know about coding. Don’t most gen alphas have a lower proficiency with desktop computers because they’re used to iPads and phones? I get you can code on a tablet but it would be such a pain to do it right that most wouldn’t bother doing it that way.

The lack of labeling each variable (with units!) in equations really boils my piss. Yes the author knows them by heart, but even peers in the same field could struggle to understand what they mean. If introductory chemistry and physics instructors beat the practice into their students I see no excuse for authors to leave them out in a thesis.
