Had this happen a few times in split screen coop but the latest patch seemed to fix it for me. It also seemed to be confined the only one area when it would happen. Are you using directx or vulkan? Did you try switching?

Thats a shiny ass head, maybe too shiny? Reflection from the shine might be causing the light effect

Ive only gotten this to work during cutscenes, by walking to my partners character and clicking listen
