It’s wild to think that so many high ranking university officials legitimately thought this was some passing antisemitic fad and it was going to pass. A lot of them thought that the fad ended and that there’s no reason to believe the protests would start again after summer break. Many of the leadership being perplexed that the students would actually be defending Palestine… because “who cares about them?!”

Hamas knows, better than many armchair “experts” online that the goal is not for Israelis to find humanity (impossible) but to be so frightened that they’d rather flee Israel to the US, Europe, Argentina, Australia, etc. Half the nation has a second foreign passport, after the Al-Aqsa Flood, a significant number of Israelis citizens boarded on planes, buses and boats going anywhere for a short holiday. Fear of Hamas from the South and a significantly stronger Hezbollah from the north might, for once, cause a reverse settlement process.

You have to understand that for a number of decades the IDF has successfully portrayed itself as an unstoppable juggernaut, and therefore many “dual nationality” Jewish people are only there because they have been convinced it’s safe.

I’m sure they’ll agree to it in the short term, but the true goal is the pre-1948 borders.

I used to believe that Democrats were at least 1% better than Republicans and even “Libertarians” (big L) and therefore after months of agony I’d vote for them in disgust and needed some green therapy to feel better. But I honestly don’t know any more, I’m sure if the Lolberts actually won they’d be pressured to veer far-right like Milei in Argentina, but at least in theory I finally would prefer the Libertarians before Democrats in power that shows how far-right they’ve gone which is a shame because there seems to be at least some actual principled leftists like Tlaib, Omar, sometimes AOC when the moon shines on her at certain angles and even SucDem Bernie has his moments of lucidity. But the party as a whole isn’t even useful as harm reduction at this point.

They should call their bluff.

Of course Israeli stooge government, Jordan, has mobilized their fixed Anti-Missile and PATRIOT missile defense systems to attempt to save their masters.

The German people are pro-Palestine, it’s the filthy reactionary government that’s to blame.

I don’t think it’ll be easy to mobilize the US and especially European population to fight in that war, especially to help Israel.

I think it’ll be the “shooting of Franz Ferdinand” moment for the end of Israel and possibly the end of the US’s empire. Even on Twitter you have Israelis fretting over what happens if the US gets involved and needs a draft and then it’ll radicalize the youth against Israel in a revolutionary way.

Don’t forget the Racial Draft had Colin Powell claimed by the whites in exchange that they also take Condoleezza Rice.

Obviously Israel, the US, France and Britain have exploited these rifts, but the whole post Ottoman Empire period has shown how unified the West Asian people have been but sadly how corrupt and self-serving the leadership in the region has been.
