It was a third-party monitoring system and company (Danfoss). Outdated firmware was the vector. They manage many different stores and thus are the common thread.

The frowns are the look of disapproval of humanity for having no money like a bunch of losers. They look down their noses at others that are not the same peak performers that they are. The bags of money prove their superiority in all things since that is all that matters apparently. Must protect these bags of monies at all costs.

The first thing I broach on the topic is that there is no intelligence. It is a language model that uses an algorithm to determine speech and conversation. It is limited to whatever it has scraped from humanity and offers nothing further. Each different LLM has its own predilections and tendencies. Some better than others, but all of it is unintelligent and will confidently tell you a wrong answer. Furthermore, it devolves into hallucinations very quickly. What have I missed or what should I add?

Edit: Article correctly states LLMs should not be anthropomorphized and “hallucination” lends to that. But I feel “undesirable outputs” is too soft even though it does strip the humanity from the LLM.

What the hell does that have to do with anything? It is trivial to tow a standard car to my home and effect those repairs almost immediately. Just order the parts.

What about the EV? None of the above can easily be done.

My fears are software/firmware issues or battery pack failure. It’s an impossible problem for the common man to solve and you are beholden to the manufacturer. And at what cost? Minor accident? Manufacturer declares it unfixable and deactivates it. Doesn’t even matter if you repair it. Boo!

I really want one, but I can still repair my current car myself if needed.

I understand. I was able to muster enough to set some solar up and am happy about that. I am due to replace my vehicle and I am no longer looking at petrol autos and instead am trying to tell myself that the loss of privacy going into a newer EV might not be so bad? Maybe…? I do not like the choices, but am fortunate to even have those.

Completely agree. I am leaning harder into renewables as the dino-fuel prices will never be what they used to be. Maybe this is the push the world needed…? Sure is ugly though.
