Maybe I missed that bit of the news cycle but when was Kamala acting like she didn’t want a debate? I remember her being hesitant about the rules Trump was demanding at first, but that’s about it.

We can and should pressure put politicians to be better, but refusing to vote doesn’t do that.
Because we have an unjust voting system, and petulantly refusing to vote can and will get people killed, and rights stripped from millions.
Owning a bidet isn’t going to do anything for you when you’re shitting outside of the house tho.
Of course they aren’t killing fotbit fitbit. This week.
Gotta shift that Overton window first. Votes can do that slowly, if we can do it consistently enough (local elections too, not just the presidential one.)
That probably won’t be enough on its own, of course, but it’s certainly not nothing.
“I don’t want to pay $30 in taxes. I’d rather be bankrupt the next time I need medical care”
“the current situation is abysmal, we should make it worse”
So our tax dollars are being used, but it’s ok because there’s 1 extra layer of abstraction?
Yeah, politics affects every aspect of our lives, that’s why it’s so important.
Y’know I never thought of chili cheese fries as nachos, but I do love me some chili and cheese on tortilla chips.
The Republicans will cheat, swindle and intimidate to win this election. They will break every rule they can, and they don’t even need the popular vote in order to win. Trump might be shitting the bed but this is still far from over. The only way to keep him out of the white house is if people vote against him in vast enough numbers to counteract their cheating.
It means “he’s one of them city boys that don’t drive a pickemup truck and don’t fuck couches”
Yeah, but he’s using a coalition of big companies. Their pockets are probably just as deep as his if not more.
You don’t think consequences can come from a temporary memory lapse? Please explain?
Definitely not a new copypasta. That’s from a famous reddit post from years ago.
My favorite part is, shortly after the original post was made r/grilledcheese (the sub it was posted in) was filled with memes like this:
Honestly I would prefer the terminals to ordering from a person. If they fucking worked that is, big shame they almost never do.
Not defending them, but they would probably say it’s about innocence. If it’s a criminal they can convince themselves that they deserve it (and they’re racists, so they’ll just assume that any given black person is a criminal).
I mean, I definitely believe that Trump would stage an assassination for political points. In fact, I bet he’s goons could pull it off. I just don’t see any evidence to make that seem more likely than “it was just some kid, and the secret service was slacking that day”.
Unfortunately, it’s really down to the residents of like 7 states. Residents of the other 43, functionally don’t have a vote.
