A friend of mine has Long Covid. Prior to catching it in 2020 she was in great physical shape and an avid hiker of the Scottish Munros. Now she has issues finding an activity that doesn’t leave her winded, or extremely fatigued.
Long Covid is real, not something made up because a person was all ready in poor health prior to catching the virus.
Sony didn’t have both versions readily available in the Playstation Store. While I did eventually purchase the DLC (which is the deluxe version, not a typical DLC), I’ll be damned that Sony didn’t make it easy to find the OG version in the store.
And I put that on Sony, not the game publisher. Regardless, BG3 has been a breath of fresh air to gaming this year. About time a studio put out a full game without divvying it up into expansions and DLCs.

I’ve been trained on hazardous atmospheres and confined space entry, and worked with asphyxiant gases as an air separation plant operator/technician. One breath of a hazardous atmosphere will knock a person unconscious because upon inhalation the brain is immediately deprived of oxygen. There are asphyxiation industrial accidents regularly, and it’s often horrible because it usually involves two people. The person who’s initially exposed, and then the person who attempts initial rescue because they don’t understand the hazard.
Death may occur in minutes, but it’s not like drowning or suffocating. Unconsciousness is immediate.
I’m going to start off this conversation by first saying I’m not an advocate of the death penalty. However, of all the methods used, asphyxiation is not “cruel and unusual.” It is quick (as in immediate) and painless. This is why the defendant’s lawyers have no idea what they’re talking about.

“Implying” is a very subjective word. Nowhere in the article did a doctor mention they wanted to ban peppers, just research them more to ensure their safety.

I agree. And I honestly believe the opinion will indicate that Trump hasn’t been charged or convicted of a crime. Things may change, yet at the most he could be charged with insurrection prior to the court hearing the case. Regardless, I guarantee the court would grant Trump Due Process.
While Trump has not been charged with insurrection, Castro is pointing to Trump’s role in the January 6 Capitol riot.

Texas bypasses federal standards in its power grid, all in service of making more money for energy companies in a deregulated business environment. This means their infrastructure is entire shit, which is especially evident during extreme hot and cold weather events.
Not to say the rest of the U.S.'s power grid is great, but it is at least a step above Texas.
