To be honest, I’m not even sure if I am criticizing it, in the same sense that i don’t really have any criticisms of the colour beige…
It made no impression on me, it had no memorable characters or interesting ideas, I can’t even remember the plot despite the fact that im sure i played through the whole thing. The only take away i had was a string of marvel level quips and an extremely thorough understanding that evil corporations are bad…
I was just, disappointed. Thats all. But my impressions are coloured by how much i wanted it to be good after playing falliut 4. Definitely do not let that influence your experience, if you loved it then i believe you 100%
I hope so, but I’m nervous. The Outer Worlds also seemed really promising at first but turned out to be so disappointingly bland. Fingers crossed though
Well i didn’t really want to but just for you, Skaffi, I looked it up on YouTube and copied the link
My guy that already happens. Didn’t you see the hbomberguy video?
There are certain people on the internet who have been conditioned to impulsively post any recognizable reference even if only tangentially related to a topic in hopes of getting some sort of response. It’s the redditor syndrome
I used to have a friend who was born with his left hand disabled and could only really play videogames on easy unless they had heavy accessibility options. Whenever i see these weird “dark souls needs to be hard” people i cant help but think about him and how he’s barred from playing these deep, visually impressive games because the community starts sending death threats at the mere mention of an easy mode.
The amount of knee jerk rage I’ve seen over paint whenever one of these incidents happens. Its paint. It comes off. Its an extremely effective strategy to get attention while causing little to no damage.
Oh i love Doug, alright nice dual reference dude 👍
Oh, ok. Whats the other reference too?
Oh… well then you spelled your made up parody word wrong :/
I dont think its unreasonable to assume that the Russian military command genuinely believed the they were a lot stronger than they actually were when this started. Just based on what news I’ve been following, it seems like its very common for Russian officers to lie to their superiors about how strong their units are for the sake of looking good.
True, I guess what i was imagining was an ideal scenario where all those aspects can also be replicated. Of course, maybe thats not how the technology works i really dont know
Well im no scientist so maybe someone smarter can comment. However if it becomes possible to design every aspect of the meat artificially then it seems to me that it’s pretty much guaranteed that it will taste better. You could produce the perfect fat to meat ratio in every steak without the anitbiotics and animal stress that affect farmed animals
Thing is, it doesn’t really matter. If lab grown works out, its only a matter of time before its cheaper and tastes better than farmed meat. At that point any laws against it are going to fall apart
A professor once accused me of cheating because he mixed up my project with another students, marked that students project twice, and assumed i copied them… Acedemia is not always the place of enlightenment people imagine…
Mythologically appropriate
