I mean I’ve had to replace a battery every 2 years otherwise this data point has kept working.

Who would though? The marketing idea pushed to the public is that no oil changes means they need no maintenance. They are mechanical devices not magical devices. They require maintenance to stay in good working order like anything. Suspension, brakes (although less often with regeneration systems), tires, wipers, air filters, coolant, batteries 12v not just the rechargeable, transmission fluid (gear box oil on Teslas iirc), etc. This no maintenance myth has turned them into throw away disposable e waste. Not to mention the lack of service for repairing the batteries and computers in the USA leading to insurance totaling the vehicles and them ending up rebuilt in Ukraine.

It takes time to wash and condition long hair especially if even approaching recommended dwell times. Same thing with any medicated shampoo.

Altendorf has albeit only in large production shop sized saws last I checked.

I’m not saying active injury mitigation isn’t a wonderful thing that should be available to all. Just wanted to point out that one argument against this regulation is that the increased cost of table saw manufacture with it may lead to a resurgence in DIY table saws made from circular saws flipped upside down from those who can not afford the safer products. These DIY things were once much more common before prices fell and are even more dramatically less safe. Unintended consequences etc. May never come to be but felt it should be mentioned.
The cheapest LG refrigerators that are 2 door freezer on top are pretty well regarded. Their more expensive refrigerators have linear compressors that aren’t a great design to begin with and an even worse design for the refrigerant used in the USA compared to the refrigerant they were designed for in Korea. (As I understand it)
