Happens to people all the time on the bayou here, but we probably don’t have conservation instructors, so I suppose the sentence is still unique.
Been on Lemmy for a year and some on .world, but switched to .today to support lemmy decentralization.

Oooh! Oooh! Get him for report abuse now!
Yeah! I love that!!
We cannot eliminate it: we can only learn how to best live with it. Completely denying the primate part of ourselves only makes it more likely to lash out in ways we don’t want it to, and it can be kind and loving and good if properly cared for. I completely get where you are coming from, and for a long time I tried to deny the primal part of myself, but I just got sick.
I guess what I am trying to say is that if we want to live with conflict, lust, and overcoming terrible odds, trying to eliminate the primate within us isn’t going to accomplish that.
Just like the primate you are, always jumping the gun!
But, yes, so much in the world today can be understood as our technological ability outstripping evolution. Our brains will look at a picture and feel the same feeling as if it was actually there. It is actually kind of amazing there isn’t more insanity around when you think about it.
Absolutely horrendous. Please never listen to whoever gave you that. I am very serious: that shows such a lack of understanding anything about people, whoever is using this as a teaching material should be fired and banned from working with children. But they won’t, because toxic bullshit like this is what administrators love.
I am really sorry this is your educational experience. It is not supposed to be like this. Introversion and extroversion are just stupid labels that try to make things easy. Those labeled introverts are often the most generous, thoughtful people who actually listen to and cooperate with others.
Glad I finally got off world and can see your comments again. Missed you. Not trying to be weird, I just like your style.
Bro, I am perfectly aware of all that. I have noticed this specific user making this comment more than once with no lmao (which is usually short for “laughing my ass off” not “out”) or other indication of levity.
I was trying to be a nice human and check in on a fellow human. Humor is a wonderful thing and can be a great tool for dealing with life, but it can also be a cover for fear and sadness that needs to be addressed.
Yes, I’m being serious in a meme community. You can choose to ignore me if this set you off. But in that case, maybe you need to consider how you are using humor to ignore the things you need to work on.
If you were simply trying to help someone you honestly thought was new to the internet, I appreciate your attempt. But your style of interaction makes me feel like you are trying to belittle an attempt to honestly show care for another human, and that is not cool.
Please, let’s not make that the norm it was at the other place. There are enough other places where you can go on the internet and be this kind of immature.
Yup, the creepy cropped crop has hopefully by now been properly coopted by the coping copper cooperative.
Oh! I’m sorry, I didn’t realize his degree was from YouTube. Clearly his expertise is beyond mine and my lame university degrees. I shan’t bother him with all my literal knowledge of the progression between Old and Middle English.
This is so insane I cannot take it seriously. What the absolute fuck. I am really hoping this not real.
It’s not real, right? Right??
Sadly, Star Wars mostly just reflects one single white man’s subconscious understanding of that culture (George Lucas). Just in the fact that Trek was written by many (yes, Roddenberry was very important but not the only voice) makes it more interesting, at least to me.
This is not a strictly ADHD thing. Many, many people have difficulty focusing when reading. It is just harder with ADHD to monitor and refocus.
The best thing is you are right and the images’ titles are also correct! “Crop” as noun means the product of the plant, but the verb “to crop” means to cut down!
I’m glad to hear that you are not struggling, and I appreciate your response. Take care of yourself; you deserve it.
I hope you are joking: I don’t think anyone is trying to make you feel attacked. More like, “Oh good, this isn’t just a me thing.” Which is kind of weird because I find solace in other people also struggling? Anyway, hope you have a nice day.
I really enjoyed reading your thoughts. I have been trying to do much of the same as far as mindfulness and not forcing things. Listening to myself and the universe. Unfortunately, this will probably get deleted because this is not the appropriate community. I’m not really sure what community would be best, but I hope I find that community somewhere on Lemmy! @[email protected], do you have any ideas what would be an appropriate community?
Yes, it is definitely stupid adults’ fault. Every time. If a kid is having issues, it’s because of an adult behaving poorly. Usually the parents, but teachers and others can be just as bad.
All the time around here… what, do you think I would just come on the internet and lie?
