It’s hard to have this argument without coming across as advocating for eugenics, but I completely agree. The fact that increasing women’s education is so strongly correlated with decreased population growth is not a coincidence.
The difference between a eugenicists and whatever the hell I am is that I think the solution is to educate more people, not to control their right to reproduce.
Nice
How can you simply learn about a fact that doesn’t effect your life and just move on!? Get angry, be horrified, buy a weirdly long picket sign and go to every pride parade to express your discomfort and let it putrefy into a deeper bigotry
As a robot, finding bikes in pictures is really hard, okay
That always goes well, I’ll make the Kickstarter!
I think you’re right in what you’re saying but not what I think you’re implying. The solution to one problem is mental health regulations, the solution to the other is improper use regulations. Which are different, but fall under the same umbrella.
Either way, taking about cars is exactly where I’d take the comparison because it’s the only other commonly owned (highly effective) weapon in the us. We require a license to use one and liability insurance to own one, then take that license away if you show that you can’t use it properly. That’s exactly what if like to see happen to guns.
To be fair, what type of renewable resources could you even use in the sunshine state, or along the windy beaches of Daytona. The state just isn’t a good fit.
I feel like your mixing up Julian Assange with Snowden.
Personally I think both started off doing what they believed was right, and both fled to the non-extradition of russia; but Assange not Snowden kept doing shit and it stopped feeling genuine.
I could be wrong - if Snowden has done things far worse than I’m aware shoot some links with credible sources.
IE is still there. You can’t use it anymore but Windows can. I also don’t think they can ever get rid of IE Options - they changed the name to Internet Options but it’s exactly the same and will break so many networks if they ever get rid of it
I’m guessing smoothness doesn’t consider the non-spherical shape of the planet, just the bumpiness of it. But I’m also some random on the Internet, so who knows

Actually you meant compliance, security has other random stuff. /s
If you can’t open a Windows critical app like start or options or the task bar it’s usually the answer. On very rare occasion it can help with peripherals, but it should always be accompanied by system updates and dism
Nobody’s mentioned it yet so I have to bring up the music video. It removes all the subtitles of the racism. It flashes back and forth between carefully chosen snipits of BLM protests - sometimes as they desolve into riots, sometimes as the police get violent - and scenes of the band playing in front of a court house where a famous lynching happened.
I don’t think they thought too much about the lynching, but I find it hard to believe that in a song so intentionally racially charged nobody glanced at the Wikipedia page for their filming location and thought twice about it.
If this was about data collection on users I’d agree, but the UK government is saying “remove encryption on private messages”. That only increases the ability to harvest data
I’m not sure, but I think part of the problem is that the votes are “real”. Since every instance has to have the same number of up/down votes they can’t get away with fudging the numbers. I have no hard evidence that reddit does, but I suspect they do to increase engagement.
