There are still areas in the South where people grow up in a racist world. Family are racist, friends are racist, school if not actively racist is doing nothing to dissuade it.

It’s getting really bad. Someone made a video on Tiktok where they were following an AI recipe for canning chicken and they didn’t use a pressure cooker. There was like a deluge of comments about how “no, salty water actually won’t keep uncooked chicken stable” before she took it down. I don’t think she even heated the brine.

Luckily for me there are so many commercials in Tiktok now that I tire of it quickly. What’s been happening lately is Tiktok sends me to YouTube because someone chopped up a 30 minute YouTube video into 7 parts to make more money than 3. It’s harder to discover content on youtube for me.
