And because of that, people didnt turn into broadcast media in droves to see the latest tidbits on what he had done. So ratings, and viewership, and profit declined for broadcast media.
Which is why they love and want another Trump presidency.

Things that drive people to turn to the news every day and watch, in numbers that havent been seen since 9/11, and those numbers endured for 4 years of presidency.
The Broadcast Media is addicted to trump, and will stop at nothing to ensure they can continue hit their drug of choice every. single. day. multiple times a day, if possible. and the best way to do that is to whitewash everything he does and says, and go after his opponents with an aggression that is worthy of lawsuits, to ensure he can be president again and give them those ratings, viewership and income again.

Ad companies don’t get create this toxic hellscape, then blame end users with wrung hands and empty “Won’t someone thing of the poor content creators” appeals to emotion to try and handwave the responsibility away.
Why won’t they think of the content creators? Why wont they do something to reduce the actual necessity for adblock in the interest of the poor, downtrodden content creators?

Cause adblock isnt a user problem.
Its an ad service problem. They created a hostile environment where people had to run adblockers to protect themselves against unmoderated and unpoliced content and malicious/infected advertising.
If you have issues, blame the people who caused it, not the end users trying to protect themselves.

Yeah, the up/down system is what prompted lots of bots to get created in the first place. because it leads to super easy post manipulation.
