Hard to blame them. It’s exhausting to keep up and fight with the crazy and stupid. Because to them it’s no effort.

The claim to have “nothing to hide” was not just born our of ignorance, but also out of comfort - to not having to do anything about it.
Now that even the last one accepted that they do indeed have something to hide, but in order to justify their own inaction, it’s labeled as inevitable: privacy is not real.
They are lying to themselves, because doing otherwise would mean they have to admit being wrong.
A hundred euro is quite a difference. Didn’t expect it to be that much, tbh.
The only consolation is that, with the discounter sets, you will get something that has been tried and tested and everything is according to the relevant technical standards. Should be, anyway.
Any of the Discounters, really. ALDI, Lidl, Netto, etc have regular offers in their online shops.
Fedora KDE.
I was happily using Windows 10 until a few months ago, but needed to build a new PC. I got a glimpse of Windows 11 on a friend’s laptop and didn’t like it. So I asked my Linux-friend which distribution he would recommend to someone who wants to try Linux, but doesn’t want to stray too far away from the windows look and feel.
Yes and no. Jugglers do benefit from getting very consistently thrown objects. However they still need to make small adjustments every time. On very limited information in this case.
I also remember an experiment with professional football (soccer) players, where balls would be shot towards them and the lights would be switched off while the ball was in the air. The rate at which they were able to position themselves and kick the ball back in complete darkness was pretty impressive.
The cult is attached to Trump, yes. But when he dies his followers won’t suddenly wake up from their madness and flock behind a “normal candidate”.
They will still go for the crazy ones who act and talk the way Trump did. There may not be a second Trump, but they are lost nevertheless.
They shouldn’t worry so much about why the original satellite is in a new orbit. They should worry about the indistinguishable replica which took its place.
Deregulation doesn’t means less rules to benefit the people. It means less of the rules which keep the rich and corporations in check. The less rules, the more free they are to exploit the people.
It’s not just. He should be locked up for his crimes. If people would want him released, they’d have to vote for a candidate who promises to do that. Just being a promising candidate isn’t a reason not to be prosecuted. There is simply no law for that.
The justice system is being intimidated by an angry mob into waiting out the situation. This is against everything what the justice system is supposed to do.
It’s not the will of “the people”, it’s the will of a minority. He HAS been voted out. Courts should indeed be more powerful than that.
I understand your viewpoint, but disagree.
By that argument any criminal ever could argue against prosecution because they intend to run for a public office. Ridiculous exaggeration of course, but if Trump gets this chance, everyone else should too.
Forgot the bite force of Russian trolls and Chinese paid actors on any topic remotely concerning Ukraine or Chinese politics, and how the west is actually the bad guys.
Unlimited bite force.
You really took the downvotes with grace.
The real question is: if Obama gave Trump an obviously terrible plan, with the goal to let as many people die as possible, would Trump have gone out of his way to save each and everyone - simply out of spite for Obama?
Of course he wouldn’t have, but I like the idea.
13% of Democrats agree with Trump on that. What the actual fuck?
No surprise? People have nuanced views, different opinions, from left to center to right, even hardcore racist ones… and vote Democrats. Just as you could find conservatives who do not agree with the statement.
The statement is so vague and loaded and can be agreed or disagreed with from all kinds of people.
Edit: And yes it’s quite ironic(?) that so many people agree with this - in a country where people unironically track that they’re 12% German, or 20% Irish, or whatever.
You are correct. The ICC warrant for Netanyahu needs yet to be approved by an ICC judge. For now it’s only a warrant request.
Totally the same /s
Ukraine:
Russia: invades Ukraine, committing war crimes on a daily basis.
I don’t think you’re eligible to judge anyone’s cognitive abilities.
In my experience: the higher up the management chain, the higher the chance that they are just in for the bonuses - not for the company / industry. And those bonuses are always bound to these numbers which need to go up. When the numbers go down, these people are long gone.
I doubt it would be a gain if someone, who hired someone to kill this guy, would become the next CEO.
