“Sent home for the week” fuckin jackasses. Keep working on it until it’s done, these short work schedules for our representatives are dumb as all hell

If the Democrats are worried maybe run a candidate that isn’t 100 and make changes that matter. If both parties are right of center there’s gonna have to be a new one that’s left
This is just automatic Photoshop - if all you were doing with graphic design was pasting blond hair onto a brunette, yes, this has really screwed you (or made your job a lot easier). If you’re actually doing any level of design… you’re safe for now
Well, we already ignore most of the others in the name of “safety” so what’s one more.
Let me know when I can run it locally… "Open"AI
The way out of it is improving all of the other parts of American life. Improve healthcare so we don’t have so many desperately unhealthy poor people. Tax the rich and regulate white collar noncrimes (and enforce the crimes) so we don’t have as many desperately poor people. Improve the availability of housing, reform the police, fund public schools and pay teachers a decent wage, idfk what to do with the media but that sucks too. Get rid of first past the post voting so people feel like they can actually enact change through their representatives.
Virtually every aspect of non-wealthy American life is currently “in a crisis” as reported by the media. Further reducing the rights that individuals have is not the answer to there being a surplus of people past their breaking point.
Looking at gun violence as a gun problem instead of a violence problem is shortsighted, when people have less access to guns than ever.
Calling it radiation gives the layman an implication that it’s dangerous i.e. ionizing radiation. This is electromagnetic radiation, just radio waves.
You don’t need iodine, this isn’t going to give you radiation sickness, but it is a little surprising.
Yes, that’s kind of my point. It implies strength in the bill that really isn’t very strong at all, while staying technically correct
Serious bias in that title. The “strongest” bill is still very weak
Just like oil and natural gas?
Yes, which both cost many orders of magnitude more than water right now. If water was dollars per gallon like fuel is, we’d be in an extremely bad spot for livability.
At this point I basically assume that if something doesn’t have a deception check attached, friends and foes will both believe it 100%
Got karmic dice on?
“people choosing to shoot other people” or, for a very substantial percentage, people choosing to shoot themselves
I’m very tall and I sincerely disagree with your first claim. The person in front of me reclining brings the back of their chair directly into my knees, I don’t need leg room I need knee room. If I then recline it pushes the bottom of my chair forward making it even worse. It is literally the worst of all possible solutions for me.
Exactly the same here. Did I somehow click something behind the camera, causing my moron to run directly at the giant enemy crab I just managed to carefully avoid? Yeah I’ll reload.
Same if it’s a dialogue option I (or the NPC I’m talking to) clearly misunderstood. In tabletop or real life it could be cleared up by “no, party member, I only told the bad guy I’d help him as a lie” even if it added a persuasion or deception check. In game, there’s just no dialogue option to say “sorry, i didn’t mean it that way” in most situations. See also: accidentally romancing the wrong person as many players apparently do
Went to prison at 24 and got his 4m nzd payout at 61. Fuuuck that what a failure of the justice system.
Not only was he wrongfully convicted, but the true killer apparently went free?
For future proofing it can be worthwhile to get a pcie4 drive for a pcie3 machine.
That said, even if you have a pcie4 machine it may not be worth it to bother with pcie4 storage. I was annoyed about loading times with baldurs gate 3 and decided to try installing it to a RAM disk (yes, using 130GB of RAM)… Barely loaded any faster. Turns out the main bottleneck is elsewhere and my storage was not the issue
I’m neurodivergent
Godsdamned illithids
There are centrifugal fans that are quite flat but they intake airflow from a different axis they exhaust it from. Could still work
