My understanding with HRW and Amnesty International is that the former is the more unevenly sided with US power, as nearly all of the funding comes from big donors. I’m at the point where I just don’t listen to anything that HRW says at this point, as it’s so clearly become a tool of US imperialism.

Edit: I forgot to add that HRW was originally founded to give shit to the Soviet Union.
