      Edit: Hey, sorry for being a snarky prick, turns out this isn’t an issue for me because my instance isn’t federated with the instance making the posts that are bothering you, so it wasn’t apparent that this was an issue.

      Here’s hoping y’all can figure out a good solution, be it defederating or personally blocking communities or what have you, such that you get a timeline of posts that give ya joy.

        Still shitty that everyone else also has to see and block that stuff… It surely doesn’t make an instance inviting for new users.

          Yeah, lemmy is a bit tricky for me to learn how to use versus Reddit, I’m still curating my feed as well. But it sucks to go online to look at and talk about things you like and having to confront some bullshit. I hope folks figure out a solution that is simple and works well for most.
