When uploading a real recording, there is a good chance your location & therefore possibly your identity can be revealed from the footage itself.

If Streamers & Journalists CAN do it, government agencies ARE doing it.

Not any air planes it needs to be a propeller plane.
I’ve watched the full video and from what I understood, it does not need yo be a propeller plane. They recognized a propeller plane from the audio, and used this info to narrow down the ads-b dataset, but it could have worked with any other type of plane as long as you can find a Doppler curve in the spectrogram
