I do work from home. I’ve suffered for years doing labrous work until I got this job about 1.5 years ago. I’m never going anywhere. I’m literally retiring at this company. 😂 They told us we are never going back into the office. They’ve even sold about 90% of their offices, and they had plenty of them. They left a couple for this those whose job requires them to be in office and also those who choose to be in. I’ve never been to the office. I’m cool at home.

Sounds like a dream. I was never able to figure programming out in any real capacity and at this point it feels like I’d need to be a self taught professional with several projects under my github belt just to meet criteria.

It is a dream. I love being home. I was never a programmer myself. Just kept learning on my own. I never landed a programming job ever. I had to go into the service desk at a company, and went into programs from within. If it weren’t for my company, I would have never gotten a programmer job. You just need to get your foot in the door in any IT position then move up from there.
