Renee Good’s family is suing the Trump administration and several federal officials over her fatal shooting by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer during an operation in Minneapolis in January, her family announced on Thursday.
In two civil lawsuits filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, Good’s family asserts a wrongful death claim against the United States and accuses federal officials and immigration enforcement agents of violating her civil rights, respectively.
White House aide Stephen Miller, former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and her former aide Corey Lewandowski, former Border Patrol commander Greg Bovino, and ICE agent Jonathan Ross, who killed Good, are named as defendants in the second lawsuit.
What’s the right thing?
They’re suing the administration over their daughter’s murder. They have spoken out and regretted their votes.
Yelling at and shaming people for choosing to the right things, even after they were wrong and maybe especially after they were wrong, is not effective at anything beyond soothing your own fucked up ego.
Like I said, their votes for Trump have affected so many innocent families for the last 10 years yet these people have had no empathy UNTIL one of their own felt the actions of the evil they voted for. Fuk these people

Nope, but I think you’re being overly aggressive toward people in this thread who are mad about Good’s UNNECESSARY death. None of this had to happen if ICE didn’t happen. And ICE happened because people accidentally voted wrong so we should forgive them for the price of their child? She was a person!

Yep I came in here, noticed you being aggressive toward multiple users, got a vibe that you either are a family member or were involved in a similar situation and got in your feelings about it. The point is that the racism following 9/11 created ICE and the current admin decided to weaponize that racism to an incredible degree. And Renee got caught up in that nonsense. Its taxpayer’s murder. And the people that voted for it, they should atone and feel regret, but the people who knew it was awful from the get go also get to speak their minds, bro.
