New state laws are pushing age verification into macOS and Windows. By 2027, logging in might require a facial scan or government ID.

This is unacceptable. And I’m sick of all the fucking workarounds to maintain basic privacy.

    See, it’s very important that every minor online tells everyone they’re a minor, so predators know to stay away.

    That’s if i’m thinking of the same proposed California law from some months ago that looked like it was written by someone who doesn’t know what a computer is.
