This is it. He knows his popularity is in bad trouble, and he trying to stop the bleeding. He’s phenomenally ignorant and Sociopathic, so he believes that everyone thinks just like he does. So if he starts a war, everybody will rally behind him. And if he WINS it, then he’ll be a hero forever.
He doesn’t understand that EVERYBODY sees right through him, and not only knows exactly why he’s doing it (to create adulation), but knows he will screw it up phenomenally, in a world class way that only Trump can do.
And even if he wins, we’d STILL all hate him. He doesn’t understand that nobody is ever coming back to his side, if they were ever there in the first place. We don’t hate him for the war - well, we do - but we hate him for ALL the stuff that has gone on before. The war was just one more thing, on top of the already enormous pile. Actually winning the war doesn’t militgate any of the other treason, racism, pedophilia, rape, stupidity, violence, etc. that he’s already committed.
