My Go S already came with Steam OS. Why they still messing about with Windows?
That’s good news
Less than $1800? Hurray, I guess?
Fuck I just ordered a Go 2 with the intention of installing Linux.
Pioneer… don’t worry… you will love it. Steam os rocks…
Thank you. I just don’t want to pay monies for an OS I’m going to ditch immediately. But if I wait RAM prices will make up for that anyway.
Also is there a way to change the factory reset image to put the official steam os one instead of windows?
I probably won’t use SteamOS but Bazzite or Cachy.
That just means it’ll be an officially supported conversion.
How does this hardware compare to Steam Deck? That’s the real interesting detail.
The legion go 2 was released in october. Hw comparisons with other options already exist. That’s not the point of this story.
The hardware makes it sound like it will still be $1 000 minimum. Mayhaps more with everything going on.
The article didn’t say their stance on opening the device. Does it void warranty to upgrade or repair?
You’re talking as if this wasn’t a device that’s already available…
