Musk has been a fraud since day 1, I can’t believe it took him fully becoming a full oligarch for everyone to hop off his dick.

He was much less vocal in the past, back when SpaceX and Tesla were getting big. He barely HAD any amount of public persona, so people just associated him with the cool tech that the companies were doing. That was also before he started taking direct control over technical decisions, so the tech they were outti g out was actually pretty cool.

Something around… like 8 years ago?.. made him lose his good sense for keeping his mouth shut. Obvious bet would be the ketamine.

Can’t speak for others but from here it seemed like he was pushing the electric car market forward when the bigs weren’t risking it which was a good step forward.

Electric cars are not the savior we all want them to be anyways. The dudes just a conman. People are right for being shocked he scammed people over and over for years and kept getting more and more success for it. It shouldnt work that way, but apparently americas premier product is the conman given how much money they are worth to others.

Tesla existed before Musk btw. He just came in and put his name on it, and manipulated the stock by having it appraised as a tech stock and not a car one. Oh and just selling “carbon credits” to other car companies so they can keep making polluters. Tesla would be bigger and more advanced without his influence, especially the toxic work culture he enforced.

Yeah I know all of that now just trying to show why I was fine with him at first. Before he deserved a second look. It’s not like I venerated him or anything. I just had no issues with him until the cave incident.
